Our Dental Office

We have the privilege of working with Dr. Lori Cockley in East Berlin, Pennsylvania.  She started dental school at age 33 while raising two sons, and graduated in 2000 from the University of Maryland Dental School.  This is proof that it's never too late to pursue your dreams.  Dr. Cockley is an artist who brings  passion and an eye for design to her dentistry.  She is committed to life-long learning and is a "CE junkie" - taking ten times the state required credits per year.  Investing in her staff is a top priority and she includes us in most of her courses, concentrating in clinical training, patient communication, and providing ultimate customer service.

East Berlin is a small sleepy town in Central Pennsylvania. Our town has one main traffic light at the "square's" intersection. Most of the buildings along the main street are original - some date back to the mid 1700's.  The people who live here strive to preserve our town's history. Although East Berlin Smiles is located in a small town setting, don't be fooled - Dr. Cockley brings the latest technology into our practice to provide the best possible services to our patients.

Our Office
Along with Dr. Cockley's many accomplishments, she has recently attained fellowship in AGD.  Only seven percent of all general dentists achieve fellowship status.  Dr. Cockley has trained at AACD with some of the foremost authorities in cosmetic dentistry.  She has also participated in live patient courses as she took the entire continuum with the prestigious Hornbrook Group. As one of only five dentists in Pennsylvania, Dr. Cockley earned her certification with Durathin, no- prep veneers.  Our practice is also among the first in our state to offer Botox and Juvederm services to our patients.

Now that you know a little about our practice, I know what you might be thinking.  Something doesn't add up - right?  Dr. Cockley and our dental team strive towards being a very progressive practice but our location doesn't seem to match. We've got to re-train our way of thinking.  Assuming anything about our patients based on where our office is located is a big mistake.  Don't allow your personal opinions or assumptions to get in the way of reaching your goals as a practice.

There are many of your patients and people in your city who would love the opportunity to know more about the different services you offer.  So - Tell them!  Let them know what makes you special and different, what technology you're using and how it works, or what you learned and are applying from your last CE course.  Your patients love knowing that you're giving them the best. And remember  - start asking, start telling , and never assume!
